Ingredients:
½ cup tahini
¾ cup water
¼ cup lemon juice
2 cups sugar
1 cup orange juice
1 cup water
1 teaspoon cinnamon
½ teaspoon carnation
3 ½ cups semolina
1 cup blanched almonds
For the syrup:
3 cups sugar
2 ½ cups of water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
2 cinnamon sticks
Instructions:
Beat tahini and ¾ cup water with the lemon juice until it turns white. Successively add sugar, orange juice, water, cinnamon, carnation, while you mix the semolina mixture. Pour the mixture in a pan and cover with almonds the surface.
Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the syrup by boiling all the ingredients, until it thickens. When the semolina pie is ready, remove it from the oven and immediately pour the cold syrup.
