Fish Roe Salad (Taramosalata)

Ingredients:
300 g. of bread crumb
1 onion, chopped
200 g. of white fish roe
½ tea cup of olive oil
½ tea cup of seed oil
¼ tea cup of lemon juice

 

Instructions:
Put the bread in the water until it is soaked. Use a blender or a mortar to melt the chopped onion. Add the fish roe, keep mixing for a while and then add the bread crumb, which must be well strained. Mix for a while and pour the oil and the lemon juice successively without stopping to mix. Mix this mixture until it becomes smooth like a cream.

Boil the octopuses and keep the broth. Finely chop. Saute onion in olive oil and garlic. Pour a little juice from the octopus and add in the dill, tomato paste dissolved in a little water, salt and pepper. Semolina Pie

Beat tahini and ¾ cup water with the lemon juice until it turns white. Successively add sugar, orange juice, water, cinnamon, carnation and mixing  the semolina mixture. We pour into pan 40x35 cm and cover with almonds over the surface. Bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the syrup by boiling all the ingredients, until it thickens. When the semolina pie is ready, remove it from the oven and immediately pour the cold syrup.
