Hand painted icon on canvas of Jesus Christ appearing at the Sea of Tiberias on natural wood. The icon is delivered in a wooden box.
According to the Evangelist John (John 21:1-14), the risen Jesus Christ appeared to His disciples near the Sea of Tiberias. There, seven of the Lord’s disciples—Simon Peter, Thomas, Nathanael, James, John, and two others who are not named—had gathered to fish. After an unsuccessful night of fishing, the disciples did not recognize their Teacher when He asked them for food. Jesus Christ then advised them to cast their nets on the right side of the boat. When the disciples followed His advice, they found that the net was filled with so many fish that they could not haul it in! Immediately John recognized the Lord and Peter quickly rushed to meet Him by jumping into the sea. When they came ashore, the disciples saw a fireplace and bread and fish already cooked. Then, Jesus Christ invited them to eat and none of them doubted that it was the Lord.
