Peter was coming from Bethsaida of Galilee. He lived in Capernaum and was a fisherman, fishing on the Lake of Gennesaret. From there he departed following Christ. According to tradition, he taught the Gospel to Rome, during the years that Nero was the last Roman emperor of the Julio-Claudian dynasty. He was martyred about 64 AD.
Paul was born in Tarsus, Cilicia. He is also known as Simon Peter or Simeon. Initially, he was a cruel persecutor of Christianity. His conversion occurred in 36 AD, when a miracle happened and Christ was revealed in front of him. He was beheaded in 66 or 68 AD. Paul is considered to the first Christian theologian after the One. Saint Peter and Paul celebrate on June 29th.
