Vinification: Grapes are vinified at the restored winery of the Chromitsa Glebe. The non-interventional natural procedure of the winemaking gives prominence to its aromatic and tasty strength to the fullest.
Characteristics: Deep colored, with a delicate and ethereal bouquet of aromas that remind of violets, plums, small black fruits, licorice and captivating tones of an underground vegetation. A hint of spicy and aromatic herbs is visibly present. Its taste is muscular and intense and is enhanced by the strong tannins and acidity. Severe and quite complicated, with an elegant finishing impression that is responsible for the right of this particular vineyard to express its secrets.
Aging: Kormilitsa Gold Collection red wine remains in French oak barrels for twelve months while, during the 35% of this period, a new barrel is being used.
