Ingredients:
1 kilo octopus
1 packet of barley
1 large onion
3 mashed tomatoes
200 g. oil
1 cup of white wine
Instructions:
Boil the octopus in a pan with a cup of white wine. Don’t pour any water, as the octopus will extract its own. When the octopus softens, remove its suction cups and cut it into pieces of two centimeters. Put the oil in the frying pan and sauté the onion. When it is brown, add the tomato and the octopus pieces. Pour one liter of water and let them boil for five minutes. Then, put it into a clay utensil. In the pan, add the barley and one tablespoon of the octopus broth. Bake to 180 degrees for 15 minutes. When all the liquids have been absorbed, the food is ready.
