Virgin Mary Protector of Mount Athos

Silver icon with Virgin Mary Eforos of Mount Athos. The orthodox icon is made of 100% pure 925^ο sterling silver with local 22K gold plating. The rich decoration is engraved with impressive details of the peninsula of Athos and Byzantine designs. Excellent quality and sharpness serigraph with "vibrant" colors on wood. On the top side of the icon there is a small metal loop so that it can be hung.

The Lady Theotokos was first revealed at Athos, to Saint Peter (655-681) and after four to five centuries, to the abbot of the Great Lavra, Nikolaos.
